Class Types

We offer a variety of classes throughout the week to accommodate different experience levels and schedules. 

Beginners

Suitable for anybody new to yoga and those returning to yoga after a break. You will be introduced to the basic principles of Iyengar yoga in a structured, step-by-step approach.
Focus on fundamental postures and actions within standing poses, seated poses, twists, and forward bending.

Beginners/
General

Suitable for students who are new to Iyengar yoga or have some experience in yoga.
Designed to develop and extend asana practice and consolidate the basics, students are introduced to newer poses such as inversions and backbends.

General

Suitable for students with at least 6-12 months of yoga under their belts, and an interest in working with awareness of alignment and how the physical aspects of the practice affect the breath and the mind. Students should be familiar with inversions, backbends and basic arm balances.

Dynamic Awareness

Suitable for students with some yoga experience, these classes guide you towards refined alignment, balance and steadiness of mind. Students are supported in progressing to more advanced postures and techniques.

Gentle

Gentle yoga class with slower and more accessible poses. Suitable for beginners and those with less yoga experience.
Focused on breath awareness and connecting the mind and body.

Active Seniors

Designed for older students, this class provides a safe, dynamic and fun environment to practise yoga. Learn the techniques, develop a keen awareness of your body, and explore creative ways to use props for support.
